About US

Initially a single specialty coffee cart, we moved to the Dean Hotel and RISD Museum before beginning to roast our own coffee as well. Our roasting operations kicked off in the Smith Hill neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island in 2018. We’re grateful to bring coffee to the Providence community and beyond through intentional sourcing, roasting, and brewing.

Bolt Coffee is guided by years of experience in the coffee industry ranging in events, retail cafe operations, roasting, and green coffee sourcing. Our leadership team comprises career professionals that have deep roots in various areas of the Specialty Coffee industry, and we’re proud to share this depth of knowledge with our customers and colleagues near and far.

No matter what your current or future coffee needs are, we’re eager to answer any questions you have and explore the opportunity to work together.

need assistance in other areas? Our team can help with equipment sourcing & MAINTENANCE, CONSULTING, coffee education, trainings, and more. Don’t hesitate to reach out; we look forward to talking with you!

Meet the Team

  • Bryan Gibb

    Company Director

Bryan was born and raised in Rhode Island and has lived in Providence since 2009. He co-founded Bolt back at the beginning and has been involved in every step along the way. He has a deep passion for hospitality and getting to know people— this interest fuels the way he operates the company. He’s a father of two wonderful children, a husband to Rachel, and spends much of his free time with family. He enjoys walking in the woods and foraging for things like mushrooms, listening to audiobooks, and playing with his kids!

  • Claire Bolt Coffee Wholesale Coffee Sales

    Claire Veselka

    Sales and Marketing Manager

Claire hails from San Antonio, Texas and is a semi new Rhode Islander after spending her college years in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She is in charge of supporting the wholesale accounts that work with us, all the debauchery you see on social media, and fixing things that break, all while bringing tons of support to those who work with her. She loves all things outdoors, meandering through a vintage or thrift store, and creating art from crocheting to metalwork. She is so excited to be on the east coast and experience everything New England has to offer.

  • Joe DePinho

    Head Roaster

With roots from Long Island, Joe has been living in New England for 10 years and decided to settle down in Providence. He’s the guy making sure each batch of coffee is perfectly roasted and working on all coffee offerings at Bolt. When not roasting, you can find Joe working in his co-op ceramic studio and working on his small business. On his free time he enjoys biking, fly fishing and hanging out with his 2 3-legged cats; Archer and Derrick

  • Ana Alejandre-Lara

    Business Administratation

Ana is Seattle born, Des Moines raised, now Wisconsin living after a handful of years in Providence. At Bolt she does a bit of everything- some projects here and some management there. If you have a question about anything, she’ll have the answer or know where you can find it. When she isn’t working to live, she’s living to play ultimate; buy books she won’t read for years; tattoo friends, family, & unexpected victims; and hike with the most handsome dog on Earth—her son, Remy. On any given day, you can find her putting all her joints at risk on a field or court, or melting into the couch—a true coin toss!
